Please join us for our first full day workshop in Los Angeles! We will meet at Tenzo's space in Echo Park (exact time TBD) and carpool to the San Gabriel Mountains (about a 30 minute drive). We will then spend the morning looking at plants, learning best practices for collecting and wild harvesting, and collecting plants to use for our medicine making.
Bento box lunches will be made by Tenzo for all participants so expect something delicious! We will then carpool back to Tenzo and spend the afternoon making a few products with the plants we collected.
All participants can expect to complete this workshop with a basic knowledge of native plants, how to harvest and identify them and an understanding and ability to recognize at least 5 plants. We will use Latin names and common names interchangeably, and recommend bringing a notebook and drawing supplies.
February in Southern California is like summer in most other states, there will be ample things to eat (Miners Lettuce, Chickweed) and interact with (Black Sage, Manzanita flowers, Sand Verbena, Mugwort and many others).

ALL SUPPLIES & FOOD ARE INCLUDED!

Details on schedule, supplies, locations and general overview will be provided to participants a few weeks before the workshop begins.

Please note that ALL SALES ARE FINAL! Unless there are extenuating circumstances and we are able to fill your spot, we are unable to provide refunds for a workshop of this size at this time. Space is very limited so please plan ahead and sign up early!
